About

I’m Anders Ang, an Architecture student interested in bridging philosophy, theory, and design. I currently study at the National University of Singapore, and am in my 4th year.

I try to look at the first principles of things. That means breaking down a problem into its fundamentals. Aristotle defined a first principle as “the first basis from which a thing is known.”

I am currently interested in the discourse of using parametric and generative design for composing space. Worked on architectural research and history lectures at sm(all) architects. Won the Tuas Nexus – IWMF building envelope competition.

Having worked on small architecture projects, I am now looking for larger scale projects to understand the nuances of architectural practice better.
